Walid Ghodbane

Meet our Founder and Ceo

Walid Ghodbane,

After graduating from O’Sullivan Film school he began working as an assistant director on American productions (including projects for Netflix and Amazon), where he had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned filmmakers such as Roland Emmerich (Independence Day), Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity), and Steven Caple Jr. (Transformers 7).

While working on these projects, he also directed corporate and music videos, before gradually shifting his focus to writing, directing and producing Short Films, features and tv series.

His creative and business skill set has been sharpened through prestigious programs designed for emerging industry leaders. He completed the business-focused CMPA & CBC One-Stop Workshop and the CBC Independent Producer Workshop to solidify his production acumen.

On the creative side, He was selected for the acclaimed Black List "Word for Word" Workshop, a program that offered a masterclass in storytelling through the lens of screenplays by modern auteurs such as J.J. Abrams, Ben Stiller, Charlie Kaufman, and Jesse Armstrong. This training provides a critical foundation in both the art of writting and commerce of filmmaking.

Writer/Producer

Dihya (Didi) Chertouk

After dual training in management and dramatic arts, Dihya (Didi) Chertouk has worked for several years in the Quebec film and television industry, where she has held various positions. She began her career as a researcher, before becoming a coordinator, production manager, and then producer. At the same time, her interest in screenwriting led her to pursue various training programs. Mentored by Florence Lafond at Main Film as part of a series writing program, she was also part of the first cohort of N.A.W.A.L., where she benefited from the mentorship of Zoé Pelchat for the production of her first short fiction film. In 2024, she won a competition organized in partnership with Radio-Canada and SARTEC, this time for the development of her first series, Charles s’intégr. Driven by her passion for the seventh art, Dihya shapes a creative universe that often draws on the realities of the Montreal communities where she grew up. Her projects explore, with humor and self-deprecation, the themes of relationships and plural identities through authentic stories.
